The maintenance obligation scales with the design in a way that is not always obvious at the point of sale. A display with four hundred feet of driveway run, six wrapped trees, and a hundred-foot roofline has an order of magnitude more failure points than a standard suburban install. Any company quoting an estate design without a clear in-season service commitment is quoting the easy half of the job.
Ice loading, wind across open frontage, and freeze-thaw cycling on connections all take a toll between December and February. When something fails we come out and repair it at no additional charge, for the entire season.

Removal deadlines are a genuine consideration here, because several associations specify a date by which displays must be down. Our January takedown is scheduled against those deadlines rather than against our own convenience, and we confirm the date in writing at the point of install so there is no ambiguity in a month when everyone is busy.
January removal is on the calendar before the season starts. Crews take everything down carefully, inspect and repair each strand, and haul the whole display away.
