Being a village-scale operator’s competitor cuts both ways, and we are straightforward about it. There are good small outfits working Clarendon Hills, and for a simple single-story roofline they may well be the right call. Working a walkable village means the standard is set at conversational distance. In towns where displays are seen from a car at thirty miles an hour, a certain amount of imprecision disappears.
