American Holiday Lights has been lighting North Shore properties since 2007. We are a year-round business with employed installation crews, our own storage facility, and the lift equipment large wooded lots require — not a seasonal operation that appears in November.
On Northbrook properties that infrastructure is the difference between a design that gets fully executed and one that gets trimmed on install day because the equipment did not show up. Learn more about American Holiday Lights.
North Shore properties tend to involve more stakeholders than a standard residential job — landscape architects, property managers, occasionally an association design review. Being a company that can produce drawings, documentation, and a clear scope in writing matters as much as the installation skill on those projects. That administrative capability is not glamorous and it is frequently what determines whether a design gets approved in time to install.
Design consultation, commercial-grade LED product, installation, season-long repairs at no extra cost, scheduled January takedown, and off-season storage. One company, one price, one point of contact.
Because we supply the product and take it away, everything is cut and tested to your design before we arrive each fall. Installs get faster every year. Our holiday lighting service page covers the ongoing side.
The Sanders Road corridor, the Skokie Boulevard businesses, and the retail at Northbrook Court all need a company that can satisfy vendor requirements, work outside business hours, and deliver a display that reads as considered rather than merely festive.
We handle commercial holiday lighting with the documentation and equipment corporate properties require. Long-term clients often move to permanent year-round lighting to eliminate annual install and takedown costs.
Corporate work along Sanders Road runs on lead times most people would find surprising. Vendor onboarding, insurance verification, and site access approval can take six to eight weeks before anyone is permitted on the property, entirely separate from the design and install schedule. We start those conversations in summer. A company approached in November on a corporate campus will frequently not clear the paperwork in time regardless of capacity.
The knowledge compounds. After several seasons on a property we know which oaks need which strand lengths, where the power runs, and how the display reads from the road at night in December. That is not transferable to a new vendor without starting over.
We also serve Glenview, Park Ridge, and Arlington Heights. See our gallery, the full Christmas lights installation offering, and request a consultation.
