Consultation first: measure the roofline, identify each plane and peak, confirm access and staging positions, and leave a written design at a fixed price.
Then installation, with product pre-cut per plane and the tallest sections done first while crews are freshest. Timers are set before anyone leaves. Then the season, with repairs included, then scheduled January takedown and storage. Our installation process guide covers each stage.
Height changes the economics as well as the method. A three-story gable requires lift equipment on site, which carries a mobilisation cost that a single-story ranch does not, and that is the main reason quotes in New Lenox come in above the regional average. It is worth understanding rather than being surprised by, and it is also why quotes from companies without lifts sometimes look cheaper right up until install day.
The US 30 corridor and the retail around the Village Commons carry heavy December traffic, and businesses there generally want lighting live before Thanksgiving. Commercial design starts in late summer.

Because so much New Lenox housing is recent construction, the roofs are generally in excellent condition, which does make installation more straightforward than on older stock. The tradeoff is height and pitch. Practically that means the job is less about working carefully around fragile materials and more about getting equipment and trained people safely to a working position, which is an equipment question rather than a craft one.
