Winter access is its own consideration on these lots. A long unplowed private drive in late December can make a service call genuinely difficult, and coordinating that with the homeowner in advance is part of how we keep in-season response fast. It sounds mundane and it is the practical difference between a repair happening the same day and happening the following week.
Ice loading on canopy lighting, wind across open ground, animal damage on ground-level runs, and freeze-thaw cycling on connections all take a toll between December and February.
Repairs are included for the whole season at no additional charge. On a property with several hundred feet of run, that coverage is worth considerably more than it is on a townhouse.
On a property this size we map every run during installation and keep that plan on file. When a section goes dark in December, the crew coming out knows which circuit, which run, and which tree before they arrive rather than diagnosing from scratch in the cold. That mapping is invisible to the client and it is most of why in-season repairs here are same-visit rather than multi-visit.
January removal is scheduled before the season begins. Crews take everything down carefully, inspect and repair every strand, and haul the whole display away.
