Aurora is the second-largest city in Illinois and the housing reflects it. The near east side has blocks of Queen Annes and Italianates with the kind of trim detail that rewards a careful display. The far west side has newer subdivisions with tall, wide elevations that need scale instead of detail. Downtown has multi-story commercial facades. One lighting approach does not serve all three, and our Christmas lights installation designs do not pretend otherwise.
We come out for a free on-site consultation and design to what is actually in front of us — rooflines, gables, porches, columns, window frames, walkways, and trees. Product is commercial-grade LED, custom cut, and installed by trained, fully insured technicians who mount with clips rather than staples or nails. Historic-district homes on the east side bring the electrical question that older housing always brings: limited exterior outlets and circuits that were never designed to carry a full display. We sort that out during the consultation and plan power properly, so the lights come on every night on a timer without anyone flipping a breaker. Newer construction on the west side brings the opposite problem — plenty of power, but rooflines two and three stories up.
Both are solved the same way, by sending trained and insured installers with the right equipment instead of asking a homeowner to improvise.
